Plies and Parties

Haisley had her Christmas dance recital the beginning of December and Daddy even got to come to cheer her on.  This year her dance studio decided to just have a small performance during class and have the parents come in to watch.  Last year, it was a full recital including the whole dance studio which you can see here.  Haisley has grown up so much since she started in August 2010.  She seems to enjoy going but not sure if it is a passion of hers quite yet.  Right now, it is good for her to be in a class setting and learn about music technique, dance, tumbling and following direction.  We are so proud of her!  Her Spring dance recital will be here before we know it!

She was so distracted by us being there to watch.

STREEETCH!

So sweet!

Our little ballerina

She was so excited Stratton came to watch her perform.  Look at his wrinkly head.  So funny!

The next week at dance before their Christmas break, they wore their holiday best to dance and had a Christmas party complete with sweets and treats from all of the students.  She was so excited!  It was her first holiday party of the season.

I found an idea on Pinterest and decided to make these adorable Reindeer marshmallow pops for her party.  She helped make them with my help.  We even gave a few to her preschool teachers as thank you gifts for Christmas.

Cheese!
