Third Time's A Charm

Can you believe Haisley celebrated her third Halloween this year? I can't! The first year she was about 8 weeks old so we didn't really do any trick-or-treating. She was asleep before the first trick-or-treaters arrived. Last year, we just went around to a couple of neighbors to show-off our costume and had a few different day baby parties to attend. This year, we went to the pumpkin patch three times, dressed up in our costume three times and trick-or-treated three times. We even went to the Dallas Arboretum's pumpkin Fall festival. I would say we did Halloween right this year. She LOVED it! Most of Haisley's clothes come from one of my cousin's daughters. She is two years older than Haisley and I couldn't be more thankful for her. She was given this pig costume from her and it fit perfectly! We also went with my dad's family to Boo at the Zoo at the Fort Worth Zoo and it was great! So glad they came with us!

Oink Oink!

PeePaw (my dad), MeeMaw (my step-mom), Haven (my sister's daughter), Haisley and Austin (my step-sister's son)

I love my dad's smile in this picture!

Looking at the zebras!

A clown that was very good with Haisley. Very shocking that Haisley didn't freak out.

They had a toddler game area that the kids loved. The games were achievable and they would get a toy after each game.

You go girl!

Fish time!

Penguin rings, oh yeah!

I wish Austin lived closer. He is so photogenic!

See! What did I say? All smiles!

She loved the crazy mirrors!

The cousins waiting in line for their candy.

You will see many pictures of her with a sucker. She LOVES these things. She preferred a sucker over any other Halloween candy.

The cousins looking at the bear.

Roar!

This turtle was eating broccoli and Haisley thought it was pretty cool!

My favorite picture from the zoo!

Moo! She's getting pretty brave at petting animals.

Our attempt at the cousins taking a picture in their costumes. Haven didn't want her giraffe hat on as you can tell!

My dad and Monica - Love them!

Family picture!

When we got home from the zoo, I had made some sugar cookies made out of pumpkin, moon and ca shapes the night before and then I made some orange royal icing for them to decorate the cookies with. They enjoyed them and we gave some away to neighbors and Austin took some home to give to his mom.

Chocolate sprinkles are a must!

Austin's turn!

Justin made a Minnie Mouse pumpkin for Haisley and she LOVED it!

She liked the Minnie Mouse pumpkin so much that he made a Mickey Mouse pumpkin also. This is my neighbor's daughter, Logan, as a bunny on Halloween night outside of our house.

Our church had a Trunk or Treat where they had cars and trucks decorated for Halloween. Haisley enjoyed it a bunch!

We love our little pig!

A bumble bee with her little dog

Everyone thought she was too cute as you can see from their expressions.

A pumpkin car - Oh, look, she found another sucker!

Well, hi there!

Some of them were creative and had little games for them to play to get their candy. She smacked the ball really well!

A farmer giving her a sucker, her fave!

They even had an "Elvis".

Back at home on Halloween night, we went out trick-or-treating with a sucker, of course!

Haisley with her sucker, myself, Logan and Jamie

The girls!

Happy Halloween!
