HOT!

Keeping up with Haisley in this heat has been a lot of work but we're having so much fun making new memories. Every week for the past couple of months we have been going to our local library for story time. Haisley loves it! The teacher reads a book then they sing a song, read another book and so on. At the end, they each get a sticker and get to do a glue project. We check out some books and go home for naptime. It has been a treat and a good way to get out of this Texas heat!

We are still enjoying the Fort Worth Zoo even though it's crazy hot right now! In the month of June, they open an hour early on Mondays for members only and have special viewings and feedings of the animals. We saw a penguin up close and personal which Haisley was a little timid of. But, the monkeys, snakes and turtles always make it worthwhile.

Our friends let us go to their community spray park last week to enjoy some water time and Haisley loved it! We spent a couple of hours there and had a blast getting to run through the fountains and sort water in our buckets. I can't begin to tell you how blessed I am to have an opportunity to be Haisley's mom. What a priceless gift from God!

She sits very quietly for storytime (as long as I have her snacks and sippy cup close by).

And now it's dance time!

Yay!

That's my girl!

This is the bike rack at the library which Haisley thinks is her very own monkey bar.

She was pretty apprehensive of the penguin at the zoo. I, on the other hand, asked to pet it but my wish wasn't granted. Bummer!

Oh, the turtles! Her favorite!

The splash park was a blast! Hope to do it again soon!

The joy on her face makes me melt!

Oh yeah!

Fun in the sun!

Cheers!

Yes, I love her!

So far, a great summer, and looking forward to even more greatness!
