There is a lot to catch everyone up on! Haisley is really becoming so much fun and we are having a blast with her! I took her to the Fort Worth Zoo last week with a bunch of my girlfriends. She slept for part of the time but when she woke up, we were able to take a few pictures of her first trip to the zoo. Justin was sad to miss one of her firsts but we'll go again soon! Have a great weekend and enjoy the pictures!
This was right before she fell asleep.
One more pic before she took her nap!
This is Nicole (L) with Drake and Alexa, me and Haisley and Sara (R) and Reid. Check-out Sara's blog (Cummins') with the link on the right of this webpage.Today, we went to a crawfish boil at one of Justin's co-worker's/friend's house. Justin and I love crawfish! Haisley had a blast listening to the guy singing and playing his guitar and watching all of the people. There were a few other babies there too which she always loves to meet.
The guys were playing with some of the crawfish before they were cooked. Haisley wanted to play too!
Yumm! Crawfish! Also, we just completed our landscaping project at our house and wanted to show some of you that we don't ever think will come visit. BTW, you are always welcome!
This is the front of our house. Before landscaping we had the tree and a few ugly bushes. Now, voila! Stone to accent the tree and our new extended flower beds. We also moved the crepe myrtle to the backyard and replaced it with a Japanese Maple tree on the right.
Another angle from the front. We have everything from spiral junipers, poodle junipers, gardenias, azaleas, gerbera daisies, lorapetalums, nandinas and verbenas. Pretty, huh?
This is part of the backyard. When you walk out our back door, this is to the right. It has azaleas, the crepe myrtle from the front yard, lorapetalums and some pretty things we don't know the names of around the Chinese pistache tree that you see closest in the picture.
This is to the left when you walk out the backdoor. Notice the apartment complex? That's what we're trying to mask with the landscaping. In between the corner flower bed and the one to the right corner of the yard, we added evergreen clematis and wisteria that will eventually grow up the fence.
This is our favorite part of the backyard. When you walk out to the left is our fountain! Isn't it serene?? We also extended our back patio. Phase II is a pergola (covered awning) and patio furniture. I can't wait!
It was such a pretty afternoon we put Haisley's jumperoo out there to enjoy our new backyard. She loves the fountain!MiMi (my mom) bought her an Easter bunny that sings and moves its floppy ears and she really loves it! Check out the video.

You look AWESOME!!! How is life swaddle free :)
Let's get these kids together soon!
You are so sweet. Thanks for your comment. Lucy's mobility took my by surprise...one day she was sitting and rolling and honestly the next day pulling up, then the next day on all 4's, then off and crawling. We had no warning...so be ready. Wish we lived closer, I think we would have a blast with our girls together!
I have been meaning to post on your sweet blog for months! I LOVE to keep up with you and your blog inspires me to be a better blogger! Both babies are asleep right now so I thought I would take advantage and send you a note. Beautiful pictures! She has such a sweet smile!
