We have been enjoying the weather this past week. We went to the park last Friday and Haisley had fun on some other parts of the playground now that she's becoming stronger and more coordinated. She saw the ducks and actually got excited and very curious. It's so wonderful to see the world through a baby's eyes. We were in the backyard this morning and she saw a butterfly for the first time. She wanted to touch it and followed it all over the backyard with her eyes. She started rocking back and forth on all fours, scooting backwards and can stand up on her own with the help of the couch or ottoman with no help on Sunday! It's official! Crawling should be any day now!

I'm trying to teach her how to wave. Here's an attempt. So cute!

We put Haisley down for a nap/bedtime on her back and parallel with the crib with paci in and blankie next to her. By the time she falls asleep, she's moved to the edge and has her bottom in the air. It is the cutest thing we've ever seen!
This is her aunt Brittney and Uncle Cody, two of Monica's (my step-mom) three children. Cody likes to make silly faces and Haisley loves it!
We went to Blue Mesa yesterday to meet Shannon for lunch. I used to work with Shannon several years ago and used to meet for lunch when I worked at Zale but since Haisley this is our first lunch during the work week. She was so excited to see Haisley! Thanks for lunch, Shannon!
