For Thanksgiving, we met our nephew, Eli, who was born about 6 weeks before Haisley. He is Justin's sister's son. By the end of the week, we were calling them the "twins". They were so similar in so many ways but definitely one boy, one girl. Having two toddlers in the house that are used to be "only children" was pretty funny. We had a great time getting to know Eli and Haisley still talks about him. Justin's parents came down for the week also so we did a lot of cooking, cleaning and, well, more cooking and cleaning. One night Justin's parents took care of the kids while we went on a double date with Brandi (Justin's sister) and Lou (our brother-in-law). We went to the ICE exhibit at the Gaylord Texan and ate at a wine bar/restaurant in downtown Grapevine. It was so good catching up with everyone and hope we get to do it again sooner than later!

Aren't they so cute together?

We went to the Fort Worth Zoo one day and had a great time. Eli is cheesing it up for me by the gorilla.

I love this picture!
Haisley's favorite - The Hippo!
Okay, this giraffe was cracking me up!
They have a bird exhibit where you can buy a sugar stick for a $1 and you can feed them. The kids loved it!
Haisley loves feeding the birds!

She had no fear. Look at her let the bird "beak" at her fingers!

She was so proud!
Hi gorilla!
My girl!

I love this picture of Eli!

We had Christmas Thanksgiving morning and Haisley loved all of her gifts, especially the pretend feeding accessories she got to her Baby Stella!

Eli got a red piano for Christmas and couldn't get enough of it!
We will miss you, Eli! Hope to see you again soon!
