The Wonderful World of Water

Ah, life is good! We have been having so much fun I don't even know where to begin. A couple of weeks ago, Justin took off a day and we went to the Dallas World Aquarium Zoo. Haisley really took to several of the animals, especially the birds. We had never been there before and were very impressed with all of the species. We were literally walking through a rainforest, mist and all! There were birds flying overhead, waterfalls throughout, manatees, crocodiles and flamingos below, and snakes, bats, and even a jaguar in exhibits. We were floored by this place!

I think Haisley's pointer finger was sore after this day :).

She loves to sit on Daddy's shoulders.

She was in amazement!

Pointing again!

Gotta get the family pic!

She loved these penguins.

This was her second time to see flamingos. She liked them even more this time.

Doesn't it look like there's no glass between us? Kinda freaky. It was really weird being that close to a jaguar.

This was a walk-through of part of the aquarium. There were fish swimming overhead and around us. When you were on the second level, you could look down and see people walking amongst swimming creatures. So cool!

Check this out - A shark!

Just breathtaking!

This was at the end of the day. She was worn out! She puts her hand over her ear when she's tired. Just precious! Thanks Daddy for coming with us on, yet, another adventure!

How great is the aquarium! Craig and I had our wedding reception there. It was awesome to have our guest walk through it and look at all the animals while sipping on wine and eating appetizers!
